Today in class we learned how to screencastify. I was worried it would be too tricky for me, especially after I saw the list of instructions. But once I got started it was actually fairly easy. Here (on the left) is the screencastify I made.
I actually enjoyed making this video and it took no time at all. I can see this being super beneficial in classrooms as it is a quick and easy resource to create. I imagine that during covid these were essential in helping to teach students virtually. I know that for myself I’ve always struggled with anything technology related. I would have greatly benefited from videos like these as I often need more time than most and the ability to pause and replay the video is extremely helpful.
